Clarks Comments Cause Outrage

Filed under: Uncategorized — fcrc @ 4:27 pm

General Wesley Clark said in an interview the other day, ” I don’t think riding in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to be president.” This comment, especially coming from a retired Army General is a disgrace to all those who gave their life, or put their life in harms way defending the United States.

However, the good news for John McCain is that being a fighter pilot is not his only claim to fame! His defense of this country against tax-and-spend liberals, service on the Armed Services Committee and dozens of other activities which make him well-suited to be Commander-In-Chief. But what is better than that is, Sen. McCain’s 30 years of putting America first, whether it be in the air over Vietnam or in Washington overshadow’s anything Barack Obama has done.

Wesley Clark as a surrogate for Obama has attacked McCain’s military experience. What, Mr. Clark is Obama’s war experience? What qualifies Obama for the Presidency? Sen. Obama was a State Senator for 2 years, before running and winning as a US Senator. He has had just under 5 years of public service with ZERO in National Security.

Wesley Clark should be ashamed of himself for his assault on a war hero. McCain’s not running for President on his POW record. He is running for President because he has the courage, conviction and leadership to guide America through a troubled time.
